Longos Sense with its blue light on and rings of coolness spreading from the device

Longos Sense · Cryotherapy

Cool, fresh and toned.

Longos Sense's cryo therapy mode cools the head; it soothes the skin, reduces the look of redness and helps tone it. With Brightening and Soothing serums, at home.

How it works

Cool on the surface, calm below.

Cold temporarily narrows the capillaries; when the session ends, fresh blood flow gives the skin a glow.

  • Redness calmsCold temporarily narrows the capillaries, reducing the look of redness and puffiness.
  • Pores tightenAt a low temperature the skin's surface tightens and pores temporarily look smaller.
  • A fresh glowAfter the cold, the vessels widen again and fresh blood flows to the area; skin looks lively.

Compatible serums

More effective with the right serum.

Cryo therapy is part of the device protocol of the Brightening and Soothing serums. Results were measured in Yıldız Technical University laboratories.

What do these numbers mean?

  1. 1What did we measure? How much the serum's active ingredients react, in other words how actively the serum works. In the lab this is measured as a tiny electric current (µA): the higher the value, the more active the serum.
  2. 2How did we compare? In the Yıldız Technical University lab we measured each serum first on its own, then with Longos Sense, in the modes the app recommends.
  3. 3What does “3× more active” mean? The same serum's activity measured with the device was three times what it was on its own. Each card shows that serum's own result.

This is a laboratory measurement, not a measurement on skin; results on skin vary from person to person. Measurement: standard protocol, comparative electrochemical response. Not every serum behaves the same way. All results

A session

A cool finish to your routine.

The app runs the session: it tells you which serum to use, in which mode and for how long.

  1. The app choosesIt suggests the serum and mode based on your skin analysis; cryo therapy is part of the Brightening and Soothing protocols.
  2. LastAfter the serum, glide the device without holding it in one spot; the cold soothes the skin and completes the routine.
  3. TimeThe app counts the time; the whole routine takes 5-10 minutes a day.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Anything else? Write to us.

Is cryotherapy very cold?

The head cools down to give the skin a fresh chill; a burning or painful cold is not expected. Keep the device moving rather than holding it in one spot. If you feel any discomfort, stop and write to us.

Is it suitable for every skin type?

Yes. Cryotherapy soothes and refreshes, especially in routines for sensitive, redness-prone or tired-looking skin.

How often should I use cryotherapy?

It is the last step of your 5–10 minute daily routine: after the serum, the cold soothes and firms the skin. Based on your skin analysis, the app suggests how long to use it.

Which serum should I use with cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is part of the device protocol for the Soothing serum. The app recommends the serum and the mode together, based on your skin analysis.

Who should not use it?

Do not use the cryotherapy mode if you have a cold allergy (cold urticaria) or Raynaud's syndrome, or if you have an open wound, an active skin infection or loss of sensation in the area. If you are unsure, ask your doctor.

The set's serums are pre-selected; swap any you like. You can pick the same serum more than once.
